Root best app for wifi tether on cm7?

just got a android tablet for my daughters birthday yesterday and it connects to the internet on wifi. i downloaded barnicle and turned it on but when her wifi is on it did not find my phone, did i do something wrong or should i try another app? i wan her to be abel to tether to mine so she can use it in the car. thanks
 
pda net wont work since its a android tablet and not windows based or mac based like it says in the app like it has to be.

Have you tried Wireless Tether for Root Users. It's so easy, open the app, press the button, you're done. You can connect multiple devices too. ;)

it wont work if your tablet is not mac but there is a file that you download on your phone from pdanet and send to your tablet it has 32-bit 64-bit and mac.

I'm slightly confused... Are you saying that WiFi Tether for Root Users only works for Macs??? Because that is nonsense, I regularly use it for not only a Mac (never even tried that), but a WindowsXP PC, an Windows7 Laptop, a Linux Mint Laptop, a Galaxy Tab, and a Droid X... :rolleyes:

And yes, I'm familiar with PDANet also. This one just works easier/better.

He means MAC as in Media Access Control address not a MAC computer.
