best app/widget

What would you recommend as the best app/ widget for task and battery. I have got the free version of juice defender but it doesn't really tell me anything....

Something where I can see what apps are running and possibly close them. Something with power options to turn WiFi off, 3g etc. Just really where I can open and close things easily to save battery.
 
I think in the sticky thread at the top of the forum is a link to a lengthy article explaining why you shouldn't use a task killer.

However if you have an app that you have to force close because its not working properly, menu, settings, applications, manage applications... open the app in question and press force close
 
Elixir is very good and very customisable with regards to what info is shown and what switches you can toggle
