best bought games optimized for Xperia play?

I saw GAMESLOFT's top 10 games, but when I tried to check out some video demos on youtube, most often they were being played on iphones or others... I don't want to buy a game unless I can make use of the R800i's controller. Anyone?

cary lets golf 2 is a good one also sandstorm as i like shooters myself but my vote goes with fpse emulator im running lots of old school games all using the controls mate so id seriously look into that

snesoid, nesoid, fpse, gensoid, pce.emu, n64oid...this thing is an emulation dream machine...the "-oid" ones are on slideme now instead of the android market and are all free.

All the games I played so far have been Awesome on the play.
I have Assassin's creed, Lets Golf 2, Backstab, Avatar, Asphalt 6, NO.V.A. 2, Spiderman and Rainbow Six Shadow Vanguard.

wow lots of responses. thnx

To the ppl mentioning older games: how large are the file sizes? ie Asphalt 6 is quite large 36mb or so. Whereas Madden is quite small.

Realistically, if you were going to put all Gameloft type games on your Xperia Play, the phone memory bare bones only has about 200mb so .... about 6-8 games in addition to the ones it comes with. Too bad the sony was one the cheap for phone memory.... major oversight ...I mean 8 mb micro SD card is only 20 bucks... phone memory is 200 mb????

They install small then can be moved to the SD card. After that you launch the game and it will download around 1GB. So and 8GB card you are looking at 8 games.
You should get a bigger card and download App2SD It works great and will move the games automatically for you.

I've been noticing a little unresponsiveness with the on-screen soft controls for Asphalt 6, and major lag issue with Madden 11. Anyone want to speak to this?

I haven't seen any lag in A6 and I don't play Football I don't know how the real game is played so I don't bother with the console games. Not really into any sport games.
