Guess I can make a quick mini-review of the browsers I have tried, aswell:
Stock: On my HTC Thunderbolt, this has been my browser of choice - so far (considering a switch back to Miren).
Skyfire: I really enjoyed this browser, and the speed of it, but it just didn't really "work" for me (UI wise).
FireFox: I REALLY want to like this browser - since I use Firefox on my desktop, and LOVE the integration of the two, but it is just WAY too slow and buggy to be made a default mobile browser.
Miren: Takes a while to open (unlike the stock browser), but other than that - I find it to be relatively responsive and fast. I really enjoy the layout and UI, and I have to say that this is fighting for the spot of my default browser.
Opera Mobile Web: I REALLY liked this browser, but it was BUGGY (for me, at least). Every once in a while, I would open it - and it would be on some random website and not let me navigate. I would clear the cache\cookies\etc. and it would work, but I didn't like having to do that every few hours.
Dolphin: My first browser (after the stock one), and I liked it - until I realized what else was out there. The add-ons are nice, but the important ones come built-in to the other browsers. I also found this UI to be very "clunky" and ugly.
EDIT:
Currently testing xScope Browser Pro
EDIT:EDIT:
xScope has become my default. This browser is AMAZING! The interface is VERY sleek and clean, yet VERY functional. It is FAST (reportedly THE fastest browser on ANY mobile platform), and looks VERY nice.
Ok so ive narrowed it down to opera mini and XScope.. Don't know which one to go with yet though.
Keep both installed. I have Firefox installed even though I don't use it. Unless you're running out of disk space, there isn't any reason not to have multiple browsers installed. They don't run by themselves (unlike other apps). You actually have to launch them.I am, im just undecided, both have pros and cons.![]()
That soubnds like a good plan, thats what ill do. Thanks.Keep both installed. I have Firefox installed even though I don't use it. I'd be willing to bet that it becomes one of the free app of the day choices on the Amazon App store in the near future. For those interested, xScope Browser is on the Amazon Appstore for only $0.99 (limited time only?)
Amazon.com: xScope Browser for Web and File: Appstore for Android
It is $2.99 on the Android Market (yes, it is the same app - the dev even says in the description of the xScope Free Trial on the Android Market, that the full version is on sale in the Amazon Appstore)

I was just making a point. I pay for quality apps that I think are deserving of the money. And?
I paid $2.99 for the app, even though I saw it for sale on the Amazon Appstore.
This dev deserves more than what he's charging...
+ Is $0.99 STILL too much for you (maybe you were just making a point... in that case, I am referring to people who follow your point) to shell out for an AMAZING app? You're going to wait until Amazon stops giving out free apps, before you support the development of new\better applications?
Dolphin Mini, full of features and light on the phone and can go on SD.
