best browser?

i have been using firefox but recently noticed that it takes loads of space (especially in data) i was wondering what the best browser is and one that wont grow over time as this is extremely annoying when i habe rooted my device to save space and overall make my phone better , thanks anyone who answers

Boat is one of the best browsers for Android. The only thing I don't like is its inability to sync bookmark folders.

i have a license for x scope and boat and after reading the high reviews for naked browser i test it out and love it and i brought the paid version and thats the only browser i use now love it it is fast and dev is only updating it

I also like boat browser (i find useful also it's add-ons).But for older phones i think boat mini is more appropriate.

Considering the other ones i proved (i write only those less-known) i like exsoul and light browser (for all phones) maxthon (better for advanced devices) and finally ucbrowser, the only one i found that removes ads (but attention, mobile view sometimes has bugs with some sites, zoom view is less comfortable but always works).

Boat, UC, Dolphin, and many other Android browsers...be careful because they have intrusive permissions and shoddy "privacy" policies. Even if you are not concerned with privacy--and you should be--spying wastes battery power, bandwidth, and CPU cycles.

PRIVACY WARNING: Dolphin's collection of your browsing history. They now encrypt the data that they phone home so there is no way to know what they are collecting.

I posted the following in Boat's official thread on XDA and they ignored it...
Comment on this analysis of Boat: Mobile-Sandbox
0. Why is Boat reading contacts?
1. Why is Boat reading data logs?
2. Why is Boat reading last known location?
3. Why is Boat reading the subscriber and device IDs?
4. Why is Boat encrypting and phoning home data?
5. What about all of the other garbage brought to light by that analysis?
Boat users need to know the answers to all of these questions.

For me, Google Chrome is the best. Fast, fluid and quick to clear up cookies.

The very best browser app is the one that you prefer above all others. Not the one someone else prefers. The only way to find it is to test all of the well known browsers on your phone and decide which one has everything you want. ;)

The OP probably wants to decide which browser to use and he needs others reviews and opinions

exactly that i just downloaded chrome trying this. do all browsers grow a bit overtime cos firefox ended up being like 100 odd mb and chrome was like 30 mb to download and its now 59 mb (its not even data either i tried clearing cache and data)

For that, I'm not so sure. All I can think of is the sending of anonymous data to Google and your browser updates piling.

And of course someone pointing out all the flaws of other browsers whom his name is of a different browser :p

Boat browser for me :)

What does my user name have to do with the truth, "dragon slayer"?

Maxthon and Next are more garbage with intrusive permissions. Most of these apps are spying on you, wasting your device's resources in the process. You can get mad at me about this but you should really be getting mad at the developers of these apps.

Just use Google Chrome.
