Best Buy Details

If you know the SKU/Item # and somebody at your Regional Distribution center, you can see if they're even in Best Buy's inventory.

That is assuming that they're shipped through your DC.

But these are supposed to be Drop Shipments, not your normal brown goods truck or whatever they call it at BB.[/QUOTE]

how dare u say " brown truck" to a fedex driver?!?!? lol jk! all i know is i have a BB stop everyday and there is a big shipment coming within the week or month! i just dont get why its so secretive! why is that?

Shit! We have a BB distribution center in my town. I know the head of secutity there. Let me see if I can come up with something.....

my best buy in tucson arizona says feb. 24th. :) i hope its true!

I just don't see amything like this happening without an official word from Verizon. All of these commercials we're seeing should have a real date attached to It. I'm afraid it won't be as soon as we're all hoping. Man, I hope I'm wrong. I'm sorry for being negative, buy I don't have say info yet to really make me feel otherwise.

On a side note...does anyone know if the Bolt will be quicker or more responsive to when you change the phone from landscape to portrait view. I feel like there are times when my Inc seems to be a bit slow to adjust. Thanks.

brown goods truck = brown packaged shipments from the DC
I wasn't referring to UPS actually...

I'm just curious though, how would you know if a large shipment is coming? Drivers i'm sure only know where to deliver the packages not whats in them or future deliveries... that wouldn't make sense to tell drivers that, i mean if they want to schedule drivers for a special delivery for a large shipment, i can see that happening then but that really doesn't make any sense... (no pun intended :P)

Home screen unfortunately doesn't have landscape view but the apps and the rest of the UI does (like the keyboard and menus)

We'll get landscape for the home screen at some point since its rooted already :D
But of course i could be wrong and the production version of the phone will have it, never know ;)

Exactly! Same here. It would be a solid if BB would give the free buy back to those who have their pre orders dated prior to the expiration.

I heard preorders were receiving calls already

Yeah they were according to droid_life's twitter but i'm not going to say what they were since it will just cause more rumors to float around here
but notice how they didn't post anything on there home page about it?
so either people were lying or they were just being told that it was delayed till the 28th or something else was told to them.

we get a report on saturday about the next 2 weeks in advance for the companies we deliever to that way the terminal and the drivers can decide if it will fit on the trucks or it has to go on a tractor trailer....im fedex ground its alittle more than just loading a truck and dropping off hell we even get crime area reports!

OMG. if that tweet from droid life is true... im gunna die

Exactly why i'm not saying what the tweet was, because it doesn't seem to be true since they didn't even post it on there homepage

Thats interesting to know, back in 2004ish, i worked for the Hagerstown Ground hub, they were big in security so i can believe the crime reports to keep the drivers safe and stuff.
i'm not calling you a liar regarding the upcoming shipment, but i still find it very hard to believe that shipments are planned in advance by that much unless its a freight shipment or something, but it just doesn't make sense to have those shipments of something communicated that FAR ahead of the actual shipment when it could change or it would have to be held in a warehouse somewhere before its shipped/delivered... i'm having trouble wrapping my low IQ around this....
