For what it's worth, I called two Verizon corporate stores here in Atlanta today. Both told me that they do not know when the t-bolt will be released, but one store told me they expect their working demo on the 23rd or 24th. The other store told me they expect it "very soon." I asked what "very soon" means, as in two weeks or one week - the lady replied, "very soon, maybe even this week."

The BB where I pre-ordered said they have no idea when the phone will launch, but that was just a regular employee - a hottie at that. Very cute.

I don't find the waiting the worst part of this debacle - instead it's not knowing if the phone will be functional as advertised. Will Skype work? If not, I'll save my money and get the Inspire. I want Skype so I can video chat with my kids when I'm on the road for work.

Skype will work, its just whether or not it will be working when the phone comes out. My money is on ti being activated in an update at a later date.

Yeah, March is only one week away, but it's also 5 weeks away. March 31st is still March. And it's a Thursday. ooooooo!!!

My Droid X was stolen, had to use my friend's EnV2 while my mom mailed me my old Droid Eris, which then stopped being able to charge so I have to use my other friend's Samsung something (the one that flips open both ways) which had a piece of sharp plastic sticking out that sliced open my finger...all this in a 2 week period as of today.

Tell me about an excruciating wait.
 
i have a question. I have the od envy touch which keeps dying on me. I have been waiting for the thunderbolt as is everyone but i want to get a smartphone now or untill the thunderbolt comes out. What would be a good cheap one to get to hold me over til the thunderbolt comes out?
 
I went to best buy where a friend works, He let me hold a xoom he was learning on. I asked him about the TB. The best answer Ive heard in a while was "Dude, we have no clue, we want it as much as you guys do!"
 
I just purchased an atrix at best buy!!!!

They are all showing available online but only some stores recieved early shipments. I purchased it from the montebello store.

hey everyone,
I've been lurking for quite sometime now and, like jay, work at good old BB. I was one of the first to pre-order the phone (even though customers are first in line before employees), and have been keeping up with everything. It's funny because I read the little story about someone going into their BB and a mobile associate telling them they had them in stock. I've gone in every day and the first thing i do is check stock of our store than in our district to see if any stores have received anything yet. To go along with some info some others have, my Verizon rep said the 28th. It was supposed to be the 21st as everyone has seen from the inventory snaps, but was delayed. It's nice to be able to look at employee news every day and see if anything for the thunderbolt pops up, as that's what I'm hoping happens tomorrow when I go in. Hope to keep in touch with the forums and stay up to date with everyone when we all get our phones!

I think the dual core part mentioning Jobs' antenna is talking about a dual core iphone 4 or even the iPhone 5 being announced during the Passover.

He says "for despite the clamor and Jobs much hyped antenna .." which is talking about the hype around the iPhone release on Verizon. He is saying that even though there is going to be a bunch of hype around the Verizon iPhone the Thunderbolt and Bionic are going to be available not long after it.

New iPhones are announced the same time every year, and that is in the summer. BMX has already said he was talking about the TB and the Bionic.
