You know, it would at least be nice if VZW said SOMETHING. I don't know, confirm that that 24th isn't happening, that the release date is unknown, something. I know they're not obligated to because they never gave a date, but still. :(
 
You know what? Screw this. I am unsubscribing from this and other threads on the other forums. I am tired of wasting my time putting my life on hold waiting for official word from Verizon through unofficial sources about the release date. I know that I chose to do this with my time, and now I am choosing differently how I am to spend my time with this issue.

Wake me up when it gets released.
 
No matter what anyone says--let's just see what the 24th brings. We are less than two days away, so reports are flying both ways in every direction. Just be patient, see what happens.

Haven't they been confirming that the release date is unknown this whole time?
 
Is the 28th the new date then? I truly truly hope that it does not get pushed back til March...

Unfortunately thats what happens in forums. We are all here to get the best info possible, and sometimes it's not what we want to hear. However, it is what it is. :o

Seriously, just because they never said something doesn't mean we don't deserve some form of clarity. All of these "delays" or whatever you want to call them are making me have second thoughts about this phone. All I want is concrete information even if it says it won't be here until December, I just want something! GG Verizon, way to just flip us the bird.

this new development came from Miami though...and if I recall, he was the one who originally talked about the VZW employees getting an email about the 24th as the date.

I know, but there have been reports of a delay for a few days now, he could just be catching wind of what other sources have already let out, who knows. We won't know anything for sure until Thursday. Or until Verizon makes an official statement. Which they won't.
 
Like i've said before, it seems the Thunderbolt is under Spiral Developement. They are still tweaking things right up to launch. They could find something that's a show stopper and looks like it's gonna take another week to fix and then bam, a developer fixes the problem and the dates only moved by a day or two instead of a week. I don't think at this point the date is moving with the product already complete and boxed. If they had the phones in the stores we would know about it. I say they are still tweaking.

I can't help but think he knows more about this clusterf*** than any of us do. I'm beginning to question if ANYONE knows ANYTHING at this point. This is just so unfair to their customers, and I mean both BB and VZW. VZW knows exactly what is going on. They know that BB is telling people all sorts of things, and they can easily disprove any of the rumors by simply saying BB is wrong. They don't have to give a release date, they can just say "no BB doesn't know what they are talking about." Now, at least three release dates later we still know nothing and VZW is just laughing at all of us following it because we are creating buzz for them. F*** it I'm not even going to visit forums anymore. It'll get here when it gets here. VZW should really get Steve Jobs nuts out of its mouth so that maybe it can say something about this superior phone. Until them it's just mumbling because it can't talk past the salty balls of Steve Jobs and Apple. Have fun guys, I'm getting sick of this roller coaster. Good luck to everyone getting their phones soon.
