Best Buy Details

folks and this is not aimed to hurt anybodys feelings but i am tired of the speculations. if you guys know anybody who knows anybody thats speculating cut the crap. lol. no one has hard facts and this is getting bothersome. i grow tired of coming on here and hearing that somebody heard a date that has already been discussed this is pointless. its like being on a hamster wheel its not going anywhere. if you work at best buy and you got infor please share , if you work at verizon and you know of strong details ,by all means speak your peace and keep it moving. i dont mean to rant but this particular thread interest me and we need to keep the speculations to a minimum. just being honest.

Defies credibility. Seems to suggest that an April launch or later was intended all along and all the rumors have been due to shrewd Verizon marketing. Except that BB wouldn't have launched into preorders without Verizon authorizing it with a projected nearby street date (hello/goodbye Feb. 14). Verizon has unfortunately, though, also authorized BB to twist in the wind while other dates come and go (read Sunday flyers) and prepaid customers jam their phone lines asking what's the deal?

I think the speculation is what makes this thread. The only time there will be CONCRETE evidence is when Verizon announces it. And not a second before. Im sure the second they do release a date, the internet will explode with the information, you most likely wont read about it first in this thread.

Best buy does have dist. warehouses, at least they used to about 5 years ago, and its highly unlikely they stoppeds using them. A kid in my sister's hs class actually worked in one for a short time. I have a feeling he was fired since he would tell us stories about things that "fell off the truck." Regardless if they exist or not, there's no way to know if that is where the phones currently are or not
 
My friend, the Best Buy Mobile manager, just called me and she advised that it is NOT coming the 28th now. She says they were told it was delayed yet again until March 3rd or 4th. I appreciate, though, that she apologized and said that honestly they are getting tired of calling customers and telling them these dates keep moving. She said that while she was told the 3rd or 4th by an actual Verizon training rep in their store, she does not believe it and said until they actually call me with a "we have your phone in stock" don't bank on anything. At least she's just as frustrated as we are, and is being honest about it
 
Right. I don't completely dislike Moto. I had the original Droid and the X (though that was short-lived) I just prefer HTC.

Besides, waiting for the Bionic would mean another OMGIHAVETOHAVEIT phone would be rumored to be a few months out.

Speaking of Moto, remember the StarTac? That was the "it" phone back in the day. I still have one somewhere.
 
The longer they delay this release the more they make some get other devices. Please release soon Verizon

Hey y'all,

Long time lurker on this thread, and I finally decided to sign up & post. First up, thank you so much to all the insiders like Jay that have been feeding us with details. I've got a WackBerry Curve (pls, don't make fun of me! lol) that I stare at with contempt every single day. I've been waiting for the TB since Thanksgiving. This NE2 upgrade is incinerating a hole in my pocket!!

This may not be the right thread to ask, but on the subject of TB vs. Bionic...I've heard people say Motoblur kinda sucks. Sense 2.0 looks pretty sick, but since I've never had a Droid phone, I really don't know the difference. Could anybody give me a pros & cons or comparison of the two? Thanks!

I agree. At this point, I am just content to know that at some point I will get it. I LOVE HTC, I am extremely partial to them. I cannot bring myself to buy a Motorola anymore, I have had several in the past and the quality was disappointing. In the mean time I will continue to search for accessories and apps that I will load up on that 32G card. lol
