If the DInc2 come out before the TBolt and has a FFC then I will be getting it instead. The fact that the ads and commercials are disappearing are really not a good sign. Now when I call and ask around about it everyone is saying the same thing and that is they do not know. I'm not holding my breath on it anymore. I may just jump ship to the IP4 if its not released soon.

If you have a company discount on your personal line ie you get the bill your account is not considered corporate.

lol yeah, i know lol, I was only going to get it from Verizon's website considering the price BestBuy is selling it for

my guess the reason there selling it for $299 instead of the $249.99 is because Verizon will be selling it for that because of the MAP'd pricing, BestBuy will want to get some profit off that MAP'd price, so its only natural they'll charge $50 more and entice you to get accessories and all that

speaking of accessories I got some good news for all us ThunderBolt-eers :)

It looks like we WILL be getting a mount at launch if this screenshot is to be believed

VERY good sign its a car mount, (don't think they call those things for a desk a "desk mount" maybe a dock, lol but yeah, atleast we know were getting a car mount :D

Oh and last night i was mistaken yet again on the model numbers, i had thought the SLCD Incredible was ADR6350VW, but thats actually the Incredible 2

so here's a rundown:

ADR6300VW - Droid Incredible
ADR6325VW - HTC Merge
ADR6350VW - Droid Incredible 2
ADR6400VW - HTC ThunderBolt
HTC6400MNT - ThunderBolt Mount
HTC6400DTC - ThunderBolt Desk Top Charger??? **Unsure**

but whats the model, HTC6600DIC ??
 
Ok, I have a Voyager and it ain't what it used to be. I'm thinking about getting something like an incredible just until the TB actually comes out. Do you think it would be safe to do that and return it when the TB comes out? Basically, does it look like it will be released in that 14 day window? That's until like the 12th if I get it today.

if your worried you might miss the 14 day window, buy a cheap phone off contract so you don't use your upgrade or whatever it is your planning to use

When I first got the LG Voyager on launch day, it was the best device for its time, but it QUICKLY got obsolete with other devices coming out, and the following year, Droid came out

on a fun note, our weather forecast calls for Severe ThunderStorms on Feb 28th lol :D

I considered buying an incredible off eBay for about $225 and then reselling it after the TB actually came out for around the same price. My LG enV Touch is starting to make me angry. If I actually had a decent phone this wait would be much easier.

Bottom line is that the 14 day return policy is too risky because it's already been 12 days since the 14th which was the original rumored date.
 
I guess I'll probably just wait. This is just so frustrating. I'm tired of this hunk of junk. It turns off when I close it too hard and sometimes when I put it in my pocket. It's pretty important at this point but there really isn't anything I can do about it until this damn elusive phone comes out.

I'm pretty sure it's 14 days until you're locked into a contract, 30 until you can't exchange the phone
 
Did you click the link? It is an (old) Verizon Phone, referenced as "HTC Harrier", also with the model number XV6600 (as in the description field of the Verizon screenshot)

Edit: It is also referenced as an HTC device here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Harrier

And the XV6800 and XV6900 are both on HTC's Support website. (Like I said, the 6600 is OLD ~2005)

And googling 'audiovox htc' brings back a bunch of shared devices

OK file has been attached. Look at the bottom corner and you'll see the "prices and offers good Feb 27th through Mar 5th" It may be an outdated ad though, since it claims it has Skype built in (and based on rumors of no skype).
 
Been reading this thread for a while, registered to be able to see links, now it's time to contribute! No breaking news, just wanted to share my Best Buy experience, especially for any of you who are trying to get the Buy Back program free-enrollment extended due to the delays.

Given that today is the last day of free Buy Back, and knowing that many of you were able to work out an extension with your local stores, I gave it a try. On the phone with the "main" Best Buy number this morning, I was instructed to go to the store and work out an extension with the manager, and that it would absolutely not be a problem to extend the program for me since I pre-ordered.

At the local store however (Awatukee, AZ), both the mobile manager and GM (so he said) told me no. The GM went so far as to say that he was not willing to work anything out with me because he "could get fired" and that "Best Buy wouldn't be the great electronics retailer that we are today" if they gave extensions or refunded the price of the Buy Back program. The other gem I loved was the "I could sell you a $10,000 TV for $1, but I'm not going to." K...:rolleyes:

I got back on my phone (store employees would not contact customer service on their phones for me) and they spoke with the manager, who still refused to assist me though he was being told to work something out. Finally, I was transfered to Customer Relations, who agreed that it was fair to extend the program, as when I had pre-ordered the TB, the free enrollment was a selling point. They are sending a gift card in the price of the Buy Back program to use anytime the TB is released. :)

So - if your local BB is not cooperative in extending the free buy-in, this may be the way to go. I have nothing against BB, I shop there quite frequently - needless to say, that particular BB has lost my business once that TB is in hand.

This is why the TB will probably be the only time I'll go to best buy, well that and AW DAMN! MY ROUTER! I SPILLED MY RUM AND COKE ON MY ROUTER!! MUST RESTORE INTERNET!

Seriously, I know a lot of you guys work there, and you'll agree. I watched a dude pay ...80 dollars. EIGHTY DOLLARS for a monster HDMI cable. To put that in perspective.. I bought the highest gauge wire on monoprice with magnetic thinamagiggers on each end (..meh) 12 cables to wire my entire apartment. 36 bucks.. for 12 6 foot cables, which are a higher gauge than monster..I think they don't disclose the gauge of their hdmi cables..hah!

I know how mark ups work. I work in the soda industry, I sell to stores. You'd be amazed to know that the floor cost of a case of 20 ounce sodas are 4 dollars. :P But, this is straight up highway robbery.
 
Just had an idea about the commercials, maybe they pulled them for the next few days and then when it releases Monday they will have the new ones out. Either is is starting to get old, I preordered at bb on the 6th, first one to do so and it is just so ridiculous all the different crap I have been told, the local vz Corp store said that it has been delayed because they can't figure out the billing or some bs, and bb is just clueless and they just keep running there mouths about dates when they have been wrong 2 times already. I have a dinc now and honestly every phone has there little glitches, about 3 or 4 times a week, my dinc will be stuck on 1x, even when I am in a 3G area where I always have full bars, and it won't go back to 3G unless I turn on airplane then off, then it fixes itself. My point anyways is phones are always going to have issues, so release the stinkn phone a put a fix out later.
