Looks like best case is VZW preorders next week and the actual product the following week. I have several BB buds and they are (for whatever reason) very confident they get the TB even before VZW stores.

Are you hearing the same thing from anybody?

Seeems to me nobody (VZW too) knows anything yet, but have created their own reality :)

I don't think we'll see a long VZW preorder period, maybe a few days, who knows. next week is still looking good for a release, but I wouldn't be surprised by the 21st or 24th either...at this point.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but can you please explain what "making the purchases" means, why this is a sign that the TB could be coming next week and what the typical timeline is from BB purchases to products showing up in the store? Thanks!

and i just got this text:

saving battery life, eh? learning android? if the closest one wasn't 45 miles away, i would consider going in hopes the TB would be on display...
 
Maybe they are sending out these emails to give people hope that a launch is near and they can deter people from requesting a refund on their BB preorders. Make sense if they are confident a launch is near.

I called my BB that I am reserved at aaaaaannnnnndddddd.............















They had no clue about the email. Or any new news about the TB.
 
So if this email went out ... wouldn't this mean BB corporate has gotten some kind of confirmation that they will have enough phones shipped to them to fulfill the order? If you've got that kind of confirmation ... wouldn't that mean launch is imminent?
