Best Buy just called!!!!!!

When I pre-ordered, the BB mobile manager told me that if you pre-order, you're guaranteed a phone on the release date, but if you can't make it in to the appointment, they'll hold your phone for a couple days for you to pick up and complete the transaction. You might want to call and ask if they'll do that for you and see if you can pick up during the Private Shopping event and pick up those 1000 points.
 
BB just called me and said I can come in at 7 A.M. and pick up the phone. I then asked about the off-contract price and was told $599.00

Thank Christ I also pre-ordered at RS
 
My store didn't schedule a time nor did they make any mention of that... but they only pre-ordered 5 phones (their limit). I just plan on arriving at the time the store opens on Friday and going directly to the kiosk. :)
 
BB called me and bumped my appointment up. It was originally at 11:30 but now it's at 8am!

I'm in Brooklyn, NY. I pre-ordered from my BB at Gateway Mall, and I still haven't gotten a call. I'm getting a little freaked out..

update: as i mentioned in another thread, i went in recently to verify everything was okay, and they said they had been making calls for appointments for awhile. i told them i never got a call but i was 6th to preorder. they proceeded to look for my paperwork for about 15 minutes and never found it. gah!

oh well they wrote my name in for 10:00 anyway and my number for a call. still havent got that call. i'll be there with my copy of the paperwork, but i still cant help but be worried
 
Best buy called me today. Apparently the one I preordered from is selling TOMORROW. I go in at 8am. Unless they made a mistake, in which case I would be PISSED!

Yea i did it from the one off the belt further down by bay pkwy, no call or anything from them.
 
I went in yesterday and asked if they were planning on doing appt's, or anything special. He told me no. Said he would call today to let me know my phone was in and they had set it aside for me, and to sell some accessories.

Then he calls today to tell me my phone is in, didn't try to sell me any accessories, but asked me what time I was coming in. I told him about 645a to wait (I get off work at 630a). He said they were going to be in as early as possible to try to avoid a crowd of people! Said he would write down my time as 645a!

Here's hoping they open at 645a!!
 
They called me earlier this morning. My appt is for 7:30 AM... and they gave me the rep's name who I need to "see" :)
 
Got the call from Radio Shack saying they open at 7, so I scheduled an 8AM appoint. Just got a follow-up call saying the mall won't let anybody in before 9:30, so I had to reschedule to 6PM, damn c--k teasers
 
My BBY isn't taking appointments. But They have presold all of their evos and I'm number 11 on the list. They'll be opening at 8am and I'll be there at 7:55am. :)
 
best buy just called and said they had my lovely evo waiting for me! I got to pick my own time and I picked 1pm because I have finals all morning. Regardless, I'm so excited!!
 
BB in Chelsea still no call, still taking no appointments, so I called the BB Mobile store in midtown talked to the manager told me to bring in receipt from BB Chelsea and I can come in at 9:30am to pick it up there!!
 
Second call this week, just got off the phone with her, she making sure i'll be at my schedule appointment time, I said i'll be there..

No jeez here, to busy eating ribs from Burgar King.
