FREE Nexus S (AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint) Tomorrow Only At Best Buy [Deals]

When I was at BB the other day, they only carried pre-paid T-Mobile phones now. Do they still carry the T-mobile Nexus s and will they still be able to activate it? The T-Mo and ATT versions use different bands, correct?

Best Buy should still be selling it, as far as i know it's still a Best Buy exclusive so they should definitely have it and should be able to activate it for you. And yes the T-mobile and AT&T versions use different GSM bands.

The other thing is it all depends on what Best Buy you go to. Some of them don't offer T-Mobile devices on contract. So i would call your local Best Buy ahead of time.

Also for those like myself that are really close (eight days) from being able to upgrade, you might want to check by sending *NEW# or *639# I am now able to upgrade but since I have a family plan I am having to call them but the current hold time is like 20+ minutes.

Well I spent all this time on the phone with bbmobile and they could not figure out how I could keep my unlimted data plan, so I went to the att store near me and bought the atrix instead. It was also a phone I have been looking at so I am not settling.

Not sure but AT&T took care of that over the phone for me. You may have to wait a bit but AT&T will keep you on your unlimited data plan. BB sells the phone but they don't control your contract. They have to get you to choose a plan to activate the phone but once you let AT&T know they will work with you.

I have been looking at these on Ebay how can I tell if it is one that has been out for T-Mobile and that it is the USA version? The reason for not purchasing from BB is that I want it off contract and save money buying one this way.

All you have to do is make 110% sure it's the model I9020A. Search by that on eBay to ensure you get the right model. Also, email the seller asking him just to make sure in case something else (I9020T or I9023) shows up.

The I9020A is the AT&T/Rogers version. T-Mobile is the I9020T. The I9023 is the Super LCD European version of the I9020T.
