best buy upgrade question

Can an account manager upgrade any line at best buy besides the primary line on a family plan or does the primary line holder have to be there to do the upgrade? I ask this because i am using my brothers upgrade to get the X and my dad will be working so I am going to be there without him but i am an account manager so does anyone know if i will be able to upgrade the line at best buy?

you need to be an authorized user on the account for Best Buy to do the upgrade for you there without the account holder present. I'm assuming that is what you mean by account manager?

yeah.. I can upgrade phones at verizon, but i know best buy has different policies on a lot of things so i was just wondering if i needed the primary line holder with me at best buy when i upgraded.
