This is an App question, but specific to the S4.
I am looking for the best call recorder app for the S4. Basically sits running in the background and starts recording WAV files of the phone conversation whenever a call is started, both microphone and speaker channels. Sounds obvious but some recorders do not tap into the data streams they just record the mic signal in parallel but not the incoming.
I used to use 'CallRecorder' by DSoft on my S2 which was great at only 126k used to sit in the background and do exactly that. You could turn the background service on and off by jumping to it from the notification. When it was off it was completely off - no battery drain and no services completely running. The problem is it crashes all the time on the S4.
Before the moral police chime in - it is not illegal to record calls that I am on, it's only illegal recorder other peoples calls as a third party.
