best camera app

Try Pro Camera Zoom 5X. It's $2.99, but it's way better in my opinion. I'm not interested in all the features as I just want a cameraphone for snaps, but it takes sharper pictures, quicker.

Hi everybody, im wanting a bit of advice on this subject if poss,
im thinking of buying the hero, but id like a phone that can take half decent snapshots,
this will be my first android phone so i want to get it right,

have any of the htc updates made a difference to the camera on the phone?

how long does it take from pressing the button, to it taking the photo?

and do better sd cards make it take a photo quicker?


any advice is much appreciated

If you want a half decent camera, dont buy a Hero, the camera is average at best, I use CameraFX and the normal setting makes the best of the auto focus etc, but in anything but perfect light the camera is useless..

thanks jaffa, maybe ill have to wait a while to get an affordable android with a decent camera on it,

the photo that whitenoise took of his pup looks really good to me, ive got an lg viewty ku990 at the moment, and when it came out it was supposed to be a camera first, and then a phone, it takes almost 5 seconds from pressing the button, to it taking a photo, im lucky if my kids are still in the room nevermind the picture, and if they are moving its like an action shot with the blur behind them, absolutely useless. And dont even get me started on getting the pics onto my pc. rant over

Have you tried picassa , its great for editing pictures, quick and free

I think the Desire has quite a good camera, the price will drop in the next 6 months i imagine!!
