Best case for samsung intercept?

Hey guys! Quick question. I decided to buy myself a Samsung intercept on virgin mobiles carrier. Since I am paying 250$ on it, i want this thing to remain in good condition. so, can you guys suggest:

1.) A good case, going for functionality, not design.
2.) A good screen protector, one that will prevent fingerprints and scratches.

Cases are tough to find. I've purchased five online and threw three away because either they fit poorly and made the phone hard to slide or the latches that hold the front piece interfere with the numbers on the top row of the physical keyboard.

As far as screen protectors, I'd recommend buying precut for this phone. The ones you cut to fit are a pain in the butt. I found good ones at Amazon.com for cheap. Reply if you need a particular recommendation. I can send.

I would very much like a recommendation. Any ones that are scratch, fingerprint resistant. Also, do they sell any screen protectors like I speak of in stores such as radioshack?
 
The links are expired, methinks. I guess I will have to just buy a universal anti-fingerprint screen protector and then just cut it. I was just trying to find intercept-specific screen protectors.

get an invisible shield!! Best thing ever.


As far as protection goes, I think the body glove case is the best. It adds a little bulk and makes the top row of numbers on the keyboard a little hard to use but I think for the protection it's worth it. It can be found on amazon.
 
I got the body glove case which does an amazing job also has a belt clip with a stand my only minor grief it covers up the numbers on the keyboard <b>Barley</b> so if you have big fingers it might be slightly annoying but it hasn't been an issue to me

As for a screen protector I got the Invisible shield put on at my local mall for 20 bucks (This includes them putting it on) and it does a fantastic job. I heard some criticism about it being to rubbery or making it fairly unresponsive so it was a tough decision. After a few days of deciding I went and got it done and I don't regret it one second as its the best screen protector I've ever used.
(I had the cheap plastic ones people are talking about on my iPod and they really sucked but you get what you pay for)

Thanks for that. I got a similar plain hard rubberized case for my phone. i will save up and get the "special deal" for that, 3 screen protectors and a leather pouch.

I checked with my local Best Buy they don't have any Intercept invisible shield screen protectors! I wanted the service they provide to put on the screen protector for $10 (I think they replace it if needed too :O )
