Accessories Best Case

Google "Bodyglove hardcase for Samsung Captivate." There is a rubberized hardcase with a belt clip that doubles as a kickstand.

+1 I use this case better then everything else. Could not stand cheasy body glove case

Can you be a little more specific? I would like to know more about this case before I shell out that much moolaa. Can you post a picture of the phone in the case both in and out of the holder? Please and thank you!!

Body Glove case is perfect for me. I got mine for 19.99 @ Best Buy as they had it priced wrong. I am waiting for Otterbox to make something that will offer more protection but I think the BG case for my purposes is enough.

I've only tried 2 cases, the Amzer and the Body Glove. The Body Glove was easily acquired... walked up to an AT&T kiosk in the mall, walked out with a $25 case. The Amzer smoke argyle, on the other hand... if not in stock (as in my case)... was a pain in the rear-end to get. Ordered it and it didn't come until 2 weeks later, with pathetic customer service communication.

However, in regard to fit, looks and protection... the Amzer blows the body glove away. The cut-outs on the Amzer are perfectly aligned, unlike the Body Glove... where especially the charging port is off center. I also like that the Amzer doesn't have cut-outs on the on/off and volume rocker. It make space for them, but it has a slightly thinner membrane covering them... resulting in less chance for dirt/dust to get inbetween the case and phone.

anything more on this Innocase II one? That is the one I'm looking at to -- supposed to have lining on the inside to prevent scratches taking on and off...but want to make sure it isn't too bulky, etc.

I'm using the Body Glove soft case I purchased fro ATT and I also put it in a leather belt mounted case with a magnetic flap that I purchased at Best Buy.

It clips onto my belt securely and holds the cappy with the Body Glove case still on it. It was a Generic Case for "Large Phones" with the "rocketfish" name brand on it.

Originally I wasn't going to buy a case but I realized that I probably should get one even if it's just when I temporarily need something to protect it if I need to put it down somewhere (e.g. in the car), so I ended up choosing this:

Amazon.com: Black Silicone Case / Skin / Cover for Samsung Captivate SGH-I897: Cell Phones & Service

It's surprisingly good for the price (less than $4 including shipping). Does add some bulk to the phone, but it's going to do the job of protecting the phone when I need it to.

The black one is available now and other colors will be shipping soon. It has a felt lining on the inside and is only 1mm thick. I have one for an iphone 3G and will be getting one for my Captivate.

I have an EB Case on my iQue, I'm waiting for them to come out with one for the Captivate - it's the best case I've ever owned, I'm hoping they can produce one just as nice for my new toy.

I agree, the body glove is a lifesaver for me. I dropped my phone TWICE from about 4 feet onto solid concrete with this case on and it didn't get so much as a scratch! I almost guarantee without the slight lip that keeps the screen off the ground and the durable silicone-like material to absorb the shock, my screen would have cracked (BOTH times lol). It also has a smooth-grip on the back that allows you have a good grip on the phone without having to struggle to get it out of your jeans pocket (like conventional silicone cases). BTW mine was $24.99 from my local AT&T store.

I paid $24.99 too, but this case is awesome. best grip, very lightweight.

I just put the amzer argyle hard silicon (TPU) case on my captivate. I love it. I like that there is protection over the volume/power buttons, and the cutout for charging/camera/etc are all perfectly placed.

It's also pink, which is a major plus in my female opinion :)

No offenses, Sharkbone, that is one fugly case. I'm sure it protected the phone well but just not a very attractive way to do it.

I'm using Amzer Luxe Argyle from Amazon. So far so good, it keep the phone slim line and looking great.
