Best CM9 custom rom?

Well, I took the plunge and installed CM7 on my nexus s and have a few questions for anyone who went from CM7 to CM9?

Is it better? Worse? Can you re-install all your apps from titanium backup? And finally, is it worth it?

Well ,ICS is nice for me ,speed is up ^ ,graphics are better [image display ,OS theme etc.] ,but for now it's a experimental build ! It's OK for day-day use ,but still has some bugs !

As for the apps ,you can restore them all ,but some apps do not work on ICS yet !

Are you running official or custom? Does root stay with the phone when you install ics or do you have to re-root.

I am running custom > you can get it from the link i provided [CyanogenMod 9] ,and YES ,root stays with a custom rom ...only installing a stock rom will loose root !
