can anyone point me to the best place to buy a 32gb class 10 micro sd card at a decent price? the best I can find locally is around $100

you really need a class 10? 2 or 4 is fine in a phone...those can be had for $50-$60. just don't buy on ebay.

Don't buy from eBay a memory card or stick. All you will get is a 2gb card labeled as 32 and had the file system modified to appear to be a 32gb. Then when you try to put more than 2gb on it, it either won't retain the data or will error out. Amazon has a 32gb card for under $60 right now.

class 10?

I'm a little curious about the class issue as well.

With my Nikon camera, a class 10 card really sped up it's ability to playback large 1080p files. Before the class 10, there was lag between when I selected the video and when it actually played. There were also frame jitters and snags during playback. With the 10, its all butter.

Granted, we're not talking about playing back 1080p videos on our phones, but for playing full feature-length 720p videos or long 720p video recordings from the gallery, the higher class the card the quicker the response should be.

The big question is what is the max read/write speed that your phone can do on it's own. If the fastest your phone can support is class4 speeds, don't spend the extra $$ on a class 10.

I also was curious about maybe getting a replacement 32 gig card for my Thunderbolt, mainly because sometimes when recording a 720 video it freezes now and again during playback, I'm guessing thats a error during the recording, not the playback, no?
