Best dock clock app for S4?

Just recently picked up a Verizon S4 to replace my S3. Found a few apps that no longer work correctly. The most annoying one is "Dock Clock" Which turns the phone into a clock at night.

on the S3 and all other phones I've used, it will automatically dim the display and move the clock around the screen to avoid burn in. On the S4, it doesn't dim the screen and the clock font is so large it fills the whole screen and is fixed in one spot. (so potential burn in)

Anyone use a dock clock app on the S4? and have it work correctly? (i.e. auto dim screen and rotate the clock around on the screen to not cause burn-in)?

I use Dock Clock and it's possible to turn the brightness right down so it is really really dim. I don't know whether burn in is an issue on an AMOLED screen, it's certainly never happened to me, but the clock is so dim that I don't believe it would be a problem. Having said that, the orbit function (ie moving the clock around the display) seems to work fine on my S4.

Are you using the free version or the paid version? Mine shows the font so bit it fills the entire screen and it doesn't move it around at all. And even setting at the dimmest setting (1%) it doesn't dim down.

At the risk of teaching my grandmother to suck eggs, have you selected anything under Screen brightness and dimming -> Additional dimming? Have you been testing it during the day with the Only dim at night option selected?

Mine is so dim that it's hard to read under normal artificial lighting levels at night and pretty much impossible to read in sunlight. I hadn't tried Dock Clock with my previous phone but it works exactly as I would hope on my S4.

I use Dock Clock Plus, paid version. It has where you can change the size of the font. Can have the clock to rotate to prevent screen burn in. There is an additional night time setting to dim the screen up to 75% darker at night time. (Works very well.) Its worth the money and you won't be sorry.

Yup I checked and tried all those dimming options and none of them made any difference.

What finally worked was uninstalling the app, then re-installing. Now it's working like all my previous phones. Guess some how the initial install got corrupted?
