Best DUAL SIM android phone?

Something I've noticed with quite a few recent dual-SIM phones, is that there's no longer a dedicated micro-SD slot, the space is shared with the SIM2 slot, in a slide-out holder seems to be the current trend. So you can either have a micro-SD or a second SIM, but not both.
Thank you very much for your reply. Phone finder didn't help. I have searched since long but didn't find any with my requirements. The big problem is nowadays all phones are coming with 5.5 inch screens and a hybrid card slot. Which I don't like.
Lumia 950 fulfill all my requirements but it is windows phone which I don't intend to buy because I use some apps which have no windows counterpart.
I just ordered mate 8 128 GB. Although it has hybrid card slot but has a lot of memory.
That's the main problem many are suffering from. I don't know what is their problem to put a dedicated card slot rather than hybrid?
Problem is at the moment, is that they all want to be the thinnest phone possible, i.e. fads and fashion, and most of them have sealed batteries as well. The traditional way of having multiple SIM slots and micro-SD, was to have a removable back and battery, and a separate slot for each. But that adds to the bulk and thickness of course. Now many current dual-SIM phones seem to have have a single ejectable holder on the side, with two slots in it.

I would like to have a bigger phone with removable battery and sim card slot. There are many many like me as well. I don't like this trend. Samsung made the note series upto note 4 with removable battery and sim card slot. Everybody was buying but then they screwed note 5.

The sony z5 dual has smaller screen and non-removable battery, but adoes have an sd slot. I bought the z3 dual from mobicity.co.uk and have been quite happy with it.

Well, a lot of people still bought the Note 5.
Currently, we can only hope that the increased size of the upcoming Note 6 compared to the S7 siblings would allow for a separate SD card slot separate from the second sim. Personally though, I barely used up a 16GB card from my old 16GB note 2. Transferred everything over from the old SD and phone to my new S7 Edge and all data came up as just over 7GB.

I'm glad I came across this thread. Until I recently switched to T-Mobile (US) in February, I didn't think I needed a dualSIM phone. Then, I realized that my father (who has had medical issues the past few years) no longer "needs" a cell phone, but there are still companies that have his cell phone as the primary contact number, thus the increased need for a dualSIM.
As you had mentioned earlier, the Lumia 950 XL was an option and I was actually happy using that as a dedicated work line, in combination with a SIM slot for my father's phone number, while still being able to have my much needed microSD. That all was fine, until Microsoft somehow messed up Active Sync for their Windows 10 Mobile anniversary update! Not sure how you screw up your own software, but that lead me to a situation where I really needed to go back to Android for my secondary phone.
That's when I did a lot of digging and found that the most recent, top of the line flagship offered, that had a dualSIM + dedicated microSD slot was the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. You can definitley find the phone for under $500, which is much less than the original overpriced value. I'm pretty sure there are a couple different models for the dualSIM variant, but the one that I went with was E6883. I've always wanted to try a Sony phone out, but always felt the price was too expensive and I didn't have a choice, as Sony phones were dedicated for GSM use. I'm glad that this one had dropped in price (from the original bloated retail price), as it's definitely a reasonable buy (brand new) for less than $500.
Z5 premium is 5.5 inches and reviews are not very positive. Nowadays I am using cubot max which is 6 inches but according to my requirements but off course bulky. I ordered Xiaomi Max also which is 6.44 inches with non removable battery but is thinner than cubot max. I ordered the 128 GB version. The reviews are very positive. Right now I am also using Xiaomi Note Pro which is 5.7 inches with non removable battery but with 64 GBs and a beautiful design.

Reviews were mostly not positive due to the price at release, in comparison to other flagships.
But for dualsim with a dedicated microsd, there isn't another that has that. Xiaomi Max doesn't have the lte bands I require. Does that have a microsd? I could have sworn xiaomi doesn't offer microsd on their phones.
Don't swear. All the old Xiaomi phones have dedicated sd card slot and removable batteries. Xiaomi Max has hybrid SD card but I bought the 128 gb version which is sufficient.
If you go to gsmarena and look for z premium, you will find many people complaining, those who actually having the phone.
