Firstly sorry I'm sure this has been answered on many occasions but I can't seem to find a definitive answer after doing a search. Basically I have been using MP4hd from here Mp4ForHD v2.9e (Mp4 Video Converter for Hand-held Devices) - xda-developers to convert avi/divx files to MP4 and it's worked really well, very quick and the output files are small but really high quality. However I have tried to rip a dvd with it and the results aren't so good, the picture lags and that is on the Desire and also when I just play the files in QT on my PC.
So I was wondering what everyone uses for this, I looked at Handbrake but for some reason when I tried to rip a 'Wire' DVD it wouldn't see all the episodes , is this because the DVD is encrypted or am I doing something wrong? I have loads of programmes to rip DVD to DVD but finding a free one to convert DVD to MP4 is proving tricky.
thanks.
