I am not saying that everyone is wrong. They can be satisfied with their INC.
Allow me to try again. Nobody said "Incredible has the best highest res display ever". I have no idea why you are going around saying hey everybody you're all wrong, something else has higher res screen. You are trying to counter a point that was never made.
I am not talking about other higher res screen. Someone made the comment that the DINC's screen is so sharp, it is better than retina display. Well, I said, they're wrong and they are going to set-them up for a disappointment if they think that.
You also quoted my point about how OLED can be considered better for reading than LCD because of backlighting differences. You tried to provide a rebuttal to a comment about light and eye strain by talking about something completely unrelated?
No, I am saying OLED (in the DINC) implementation is flawed regardless of the backlight advantage. The
Clarity difference will effect the reading for extended periods of time; despite the backlight advantages.
I misquoted you when I should have quoted your previous paragraph:
The fact is, AMOLED screens work extremely well as a text reader. Anyone would be able to read a book comfortably for extended periods of time on it without any complaints
My rebuttal is no. Because of the inherent display problem. Color fringing will cause problems for extended reading. But back to my original rebuttal with the other poster.
The DINC is fine when you are comparing it something older. But in comparison to the newer phones on the market, it falls a bit short.
If people are happy with the current implementation and are happy fine. But, you should note, there are many people that think there are issues with the screen.
