Accessories ???best EVO case???

Hi everyone...first post...new to the forum... I just purchased the - Seidio Innocase Extended Case for HTC EVO 4G (for use with Seidio Innocell 3500 mAh Extended Life Battery).
Question: I am kind of concerned about the lack of coverage/support around the edges of the phone with this extended case. Does anyone know of another "case/jell" that will completely fit around the phone and will protect all side (keeping in mind the thicker battery)? Please let me know. Thanks in advance!

I got the Platinum from Best Buy...it's a POS.

The design is awesome but it's crap plastic. Mine is the older 2 piece model, after just 30 days one of the corner clips snapped off...which makes it useless.

I will try to exchange it but it being a cell phone case I didnt even keep the receipt.
 
Ballistic HC case is being released the middle of this month!! I cant wait, I'm ordering it as soon as its available. If you arent familiar with Ballisitic then check out their youtube videos of the iphone 4 case and how they throw it up against a concrete wall multiple times with 0 damage, or drag the case in a belt holster from behind a truck and it never breaks or even comes out of the holster...sweet!!

For those using otterbox commuter series for evo...can u guys temme if there is covering for the camera lens on the case (like its there on the defender ) ?
if not...suggest me a good alternative to otterbox commuter which has good protection for the most vulnerable part on the evo.."The back camera lens "

The new ballistic case will have covers for the lender as well as the flash and the speakers. I have the defender but I'm also buying the ballistic as son as it comes out

i just saw the case...itz freaking awesome...!
but i dont know how much bulk it will add to my phone after those thick four layers of protection...!

btw..i always wonder..putting such thick and multilayer cases...doesnt it affect the phones cooling.?..doesnt the phone get heated up like hell when u hv it with such thick covers ?

i remember when my 1st gen iphone's commboard got burnt due to over-heating and only because i kept it in a thick leather case ...
i know the new ones are with better technology but using phone continuously for long with these cases on is seriously inviting trouble fr the phone in terms of heating ?

what do u guys think ?

and imo(personal preference)...the 5th layer (silicon) and the holster is quite unnecessary as far as my needs go...are these optional or they come along with the case...if the latter is true then they should have a case without these 2 layers...:)

btw...people who are using the defender and rugged case or even commuter for that matter ..how often does your phone get heated up...are there any issues concerning the phone's cooling with these cases...since many people already own it and are using them from a month...so do u guys notice these issues or is the case too thick to allow any heat to be felt on ur palm:rolleyes:
 
Another vote for the Best Buy Platinum aka Seidio Innocase. I tried the otterbox comuter and it was a good case just didn't like the feel of it and has more bulk than BB case. I tried one of those TPA cases and I like the idea but too slick for my taste, and the buttons where harder to press. For me the Innocase style works the best. Love the white on black too.
