Accessories Best extended battery without needed a replacement cover?

Does anyone know what the best battery is (longest life) without needing a replacement cover? I bought the seidio 3500 battery but hate the extended cover. I am going to give this battery to my wife and see if there are any 1750 or 1800 batteries out there.

Do you guys know of any? What are the best ones out there that I can use my regular cover with?

Thanks! :)

Edit: Also where can I buy spare batteries from? I'm talking about the original that comes with the phone? I would love to buy 1 or 2 extra original batteries with an external charger....is this possible?

Ebay has a large selection of batteries for the HTC Evo. I have bought a 1750 Seidio battery no special cover required and 1800 Galieo brand.

Settled for a "Chinese battery" instead...3500mAh battery instead. Comes with a better looking back cover than the Seidio.

In my opinion, the Seidio battery sucked and still using the Chinese battery- holds a great charge.

I have the yoobao 3000 mah with replacement cover. I bought it off eBay for 29.00 tax included. The battery is great and i recommend it...hours of use now...

Just buy this dock. It already has a spare battery charger as well as an extra battery. I would suggest buying an oem battery as the battery that comes with the dock might not be as reliable than oem battery.

BATTERY CHARGER AC USB DOCK CRADLE FR SPRINT HTC EVO 4G - eBay (item 190482554171 end time Dec-23-10 02:57:04 PST)

charge your phone along with the spare battery, and take the spare battery with you, when you need to change battery, you already have a spare battery fully charged and ready to go. :)

This battery made a huge difference on the Droid Incredible. Just picked it up for my EVO. The Dinc went from 1300 to 1800maH and the EVO will only go from 1500 to 1800, but it fits behind the batt cover easy so I might as well.
I like the idea of having a fully charged batt on the wall at all times. I get home from work, swap batts, and have a full charge to go all evening. Not fond of the idea of being tethered to a charger with a device that is supposed to be mobile.

First manufacturer to grasp the concept of quick change batteries will unleash a lot more performance in smartphones!
