I recently got an Oem HTC extended battery and although I am getting somewhat better battery life, I am still looking for an improvement. Has anyone gotten better battery life from a non Oem extended battery? I've seen some knock off batteries of 3500 and 3200 mah, but I'm not certain they are legit. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

The knockoff extended batteries have been bad news. Either the battery is crap and/or the rear cover that comes with it kills the signal for your radios and gps.
Stick with the OEM one and pick up one of those cheap external battery packs if you really need one.
