Best GN2 Screen Protector

Thanks, just ordered one from ebay.
Yeah I got mine from Ebay, pretty much the same price as Amazon.
What I need now is something like a digital camera case, with zip, to put the phone in when I'm in dusty environments. It really needs to fit snug inside with no rattling around, it will also have the Samsung official flip cover on.
The reason for this is I have written a few phones off with dust getting in, no risking it with this one. Any suggestions welcome :)

What's the difference between the spigen variants in their steinheil series?

The #1 thing about SPG screen protectors is that they're all dry install, so keeps the phone safe from water damage.

ultra crystal (only ones I've tried before) are extremely clear, to the point that you can barely tell there's a screen protector on the phone.

oleophobic (one I'll be trying with the Note 2) is supposedly as clear as the ultra crystal, but also limits the amount of fingerprint smudges and oil on the screen protector.

anti-glare is self explanatory. It's got anti-glare components for use in sunny areas.

Can't remember the other versions.

I am considering the ultra crystal and the oleophobic one, but I shall wait for your comments first hehe :)

The other one I've used is the anti-fingerprint. It's OK vs other similar anti-fingerprint brands but it is totally different than the oleophobic. It's matte instead of glossy, it has the slight rainbow affect, and its not nearly as smooth as the crystal or oleophobic.

Thanks for posting that. I couldn't remember if there was an anti-fingerprint one or not, but after looking back on the website, I remembered.

Do those of you in the UK using screen protectors find the stylus still works just as well with it on? I thought I read somewhere that they usually cause a bit of interference...

Just fitted the SPG Crystal screen protector, truly amazing, especially after removing a temporary ebay version. It is like using the orginal screen.

l used the s-pen to write this message as a test and there is no negative impact on the pen or screen.

Thank you all for the recommendation.

Yup. Once I saw recommendations of SGP on this forum, I've never used anything else (unless SGP wasn't an option). There's something about the quality of their screen protectors that just outshines all the competition. I've tried so many different companies (famous to cheap ebay) that I've had a good comparison of the differences. SGP reigns supreme over all, especially due to the dry install process.

I did the same. just got the official flip cover and SGP screen protector delivered today, wow, I do feel like the mutts nuts now, the cover looks very nice and for someone who doesn't really like screen protectors and can't stand fitting them, it went on pretty easily, and looks good, can hardly notice it and its giving me piece of mind when I am at work or writing on it.

How is the leather of the official flip cover? Because I put my gadgets in my bag and I was thinking of a pouch or a flip cover

Flip cover is not leather, its like plastic y at least the grey one is. The front is like a brushed metal look with Samsung on the top and galaxy note 11 on the bottom. The front opens and the inside is a soft suede like material that rests on the screen when its closed. The back is identical to the standard one thats on the grey phone but its attatched to the front also. The end product is a stunning looking case and has to be seen to be appreciated, go down to the store and ask the assistant to try it on, well worth the

Just an update on the flip cover, everything looks fine, works fine until you want to put your phone in the car dock. Then it won't fit in lol so if you are planning on a car trip, make sure you carry the back cover to change into :)

Which car dock?

This one, or any that side clamp, which will be most.......

Invisible Shield is awful. I used to use that on my past devices, until I discovered SGP. Never again.

I'm a big fan of ZAGG. Had one on my DROID Charge & currently on my S3. I just have to decide between the original or the new extreme version, as I've heard the HD version isn't the greatest. So unless I hear about the feel of the extreme , I might just stick w/ the original.

If anybody has used the ZAGG Extreme version please comment here on this thread : http://androidforums.com/android-accessories/632279-zagg-extreme.html as this will help me in my decision making process. Thanks.

Everyone I've turned on to SPG ... and I literally mean every person, and then every phone in their family... has thanked me profusely. The quality is quite evident in the beginning, but the real payback and benefit is when it still looks and feels great a year or more later. Most grew accustomed to the drag on Zagg and didn't realize how yellow it turned until they removed it.

I would challenge anyone to try one, then see for yourself Zaggs are not much better than the multi-packs of crap you can get for a couple bucks. It's like driving an old car that you're comfy with and love, then driving a Lexus or another high end car - you wonder why the hell you thought your old car was 'the bomb'. LOL

No offense to anyone, it is what it is.

In regards to the ZAGG turning yellow as I've heard folks say before I've never had that issue. I really love the sponge type feel especially when typing. Just personal preference I guess.

I detest Zagg screen protectors. Mine turned yellow in less than a month and so did their replacements.

The only thing about SPG is not knowing which one to get. Too many options for a screen protector so you don't know which one is best.
