Best Google Reader app?

What is the best RSS reader app (free or paid, doesn't matter to me), preferably the best RSS reader that directly syncs two-way with Google Reader without too much trouble?

Why don't you just log into google reader from your phone? I gladly left behind the RSS readers once I learned I could just log into Reader in the browser.

Another vote for NewsRob. While I also appreciate the website view of gReader, NewsRob's sharing feature, among others, ensures continued usage. I still can't believe it's free.

I, too like Google Reader directlly from the phone, but I use FeedR. It costs 99 cents and syncs with Google reader.

I like it because of the way it easily popcorns the new feeds to the top. On the small screen, I don't prefer having the integrated newsfeed with all stories jumbled together. I like the feed subscriptions to list, with but the ones that have a newest hit at the top. One touch to check that feed, and while I'm there I can "Mark all as Read" in that feed to make it go down to the bottom.

I kinda just wish google would release an official Reader app (and a Wave app, and a Docs app) like they have with Listen, Voice and Maps.

But that aside, I used NewsRob for awhile. Now I don't use any Reader app (haven't seen any rss feeds worth tracking lately lol)

I've tried Newsrob this morning after reading this thread, and it does work well.

It syncs better. FeedR seems to have gremlins in the sync category.

But FeedR is better at putting the feeds with the latest content at the top.

So far I've been using Reader in my browser. It works great and if I want to go to a link in something I'm reading, I'm already in the browser so I don't have to open a second app.

What exactly is the benefit of a standalone reader app?

I like to dl the RSS, and read them when I am on the plane (with no internet connection).
