best ICS rom?

Hi guys what do u guys think is the best ISC rom out for galaxy s2 im using CM9 now, what do u think of andyX rom
 
How is CM9? I've been waiting for the official release by them.

P.S: Probably better to ask in the All Things Root section! :)
 
Im on AndyX 5.2 and its almost flawless , not updated to 6.0 yet as I,m waiting for more reviews , would like to hear from you how its rates vs CM9
 
I'm on AndyX v6.0 and I have no complaints at all. Battery life is better than AndyX 5 by almost 1% per hour (using BatteryDrain to measure) - only had one acore FC in the last two days and that's on moderate-heavy use
Only complaint everyone has is you can't go from camera to gallery directly without crashing, but I never do that anyway.
 
Wanamlite v8.9 is stable and I think a way better than AndyRom which i have tried and is a bit crap, with the developer a bit of an arse as well.

My opinion only of course, others will disagree. But try Wanamlite.
 
My Favourite is Wanamlite v9.0. I have not experienced any bugs with this yet.
It is ICS themed and seems to run smoother than the other ICS Roms i've tried. Also it comes with Apex launcher which looks the same as the GNexus launcher but with a lot more options similar to Go Launcher.

I tried AndyX rom for a short while but it was only partly ICS themed, cant really comment on its stability as I changed it within 10 mins. It took me a while to get hold of the zip file as the link in the OP was dead and the owner didn't want any mirrors :/

I tried Pure ICS v 6.1 for a few hours, it was themed nicely but for some reason I kept getting force closes.
 
AndyX ROM 6.0 had problem with camera and gallery. You cannot open gallery demo and camera will either FC or simply crash then auto reboot.

AndyX ROM 6.1 fixed GalleryDemo opening FC problem but GalleryDemo still crashed when Edit the picture. Camera still FC or the phone die completely when clicking on preview.

AndyX ROM 5.3 has the lowest FC rate. But had the lowest Quadrant score of 2600-3100max.
Where 6.1 can easily get 3800-4200 score.

Andy got exiled from XDA and now we have lost comunication with him.
 
AndyX 5.2 was pretty good. It crashed about 4 times over the courses of 2 weeks, one time was a weird glitch where the screen went all distorted and froze, the other was where the phone went dark and needed a battery pull if the screen was locked or auto-locked while the LED torch was turned on.

I'm trying CM9 at the moment, I miss having the custom notification bar power control from CM7 back when I used an HTC Desire and this ROM includes it. However, there is no task manager option next to recent apps when you hold the home button. Does Wanamlite have the task manager here?

Also, which ROMs apart from AndyX include google apps like the market? I don't know how to install it on CM9.
 
With CM9, you have to flash the Google Apps package as well after the main rom.
Wanamlite does have the task manager where you ask.
