Root Best kernel for CM6

hey there,
i'm now running a rooted evo with bakedsnack1.8. i want to try switching to CM6,do u guys know what kernel is best for it?i heard CM6 is pretty bad in battery life but with the right kernel u can get good battery ife.any suggestions?thanks

im getting good battery life without flashing a kernal.

You heard wrong,CM is just as good as any other ROM in terms of battery life.You might wanna try running the latest snap Kernel which is 7.6 but I consider 7.4 to be the best out of all of them.

Not true at all. I am running CM6 and when I was on Snap 7.6 w/turbo, I charged to 100% and set a timer. It was DEAD in 10hrs..mind you I sit at a desk for 8....so very minimal use from 8 to 5.
When I was on BS 1.8 I could at least get 14 to 18hrs out of a charge with same use. I switched to Kingz CFS 1 yesterday morning and tested it. It's sightly better..maybe by an hour. Still bad in my eyes..so I just a few mins ago flashed BFS 2 to test. If this is just as bad...I will try 7.4 and see what it does.

7.6 is not battery friendly due the turbo feature and some tweaks to increase "performance".

But you can judge one ROM for just one Kernel,there are plenty of snap Kernel out there some are good,some others not so good due to their increased performance tweaks.

Wipe ur battery stats everytime u flash a new Kernel.

I wipe all that twice. I just flashed 7.4 975 and now i'm in a bootloop dammit! I'm just gonna go back to Kingz 1 and stay by a charger and realize the Evo battery is JUNK

Looks like ur phone hates the low voltage.Sometimes that happens reflash the Kernel and try again.

I just nand restored it back from day 1 CM install...AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
