Help Best music app suggestions

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I did several searches and can't find anything useful - there are a lot of posts on this forum!

What is the best music listening app for the Optimus V? I'm using the stock one right now and copying my music folders to the SD card, but I want something that manages playlists better. If it has a "sync" function, I think that would be nice, unless there is a better way...?

I use the Google music player. It will play music from your uSD as well as from your cloud music.

I'm not big on playlists, so I'm not sure how well that works in it.

since my number 1 most important feature is replaygain my recommendations are the players that i know support it

DeaDBeeF and Rockbox and since Rockbox is really early in it's development it's a bit too buggy (it's also uses 12MB of space) so DeaDBeeF wins for now

Player Pro looks just like Cubed in "wall mode". I don't need the equalizer (nothing seems to help the audio on an Optimus-V), so I prefer the small app size of Cubed. App size is real important on phones with limited app space!

Not if you have Link2SD or App2SD. I prefer Link2SD, but both are good...and I have a system in my car (subs/after market speakers) and yes the phone blows it when it comes to quality, however I can make it sound A LOT better with the equalizer. That's why I like it haha

I don't understand why your post says (not quoted, for some reason) that the app in incompatible with Optimus V. I also like Google Music app, because of the ability to store music on the cloud. I just wish it wasn't such a large app, and see no reason that it should be so large.

Because that is my signature. It is at the bottom of all of my first posts of the thread.

I guess I don't notice the 8.7mb because I have it linked2sd.

Generally speaking I don't listen to music on my phone, but when I do (at the doctors office, dentist etcetera) I use PowerAMP. It's one of the few that supports the FLAC music file format.

Haven't tried many of these, but I can say Songbird works pretty well.

Does anyone know one that can sync ratings with iTunes?
