Best Music/Media Player App

I read through the thread. MixZing was one of the top players on Play when I searched for AAC players. I love Mobo Player for videos. Everyone seems to be praising PowerAmp. I just want a simple player that can play the music I bought off iTunes and maybe the stock player can do it on the M8, I don't know yet. Any suggestions?

I heard rocket player was good for iTunes users. It even has a sync option for itunes

It plays ALAC & it has iSyncr to sync with itunes, but I havent tried it yet so I dunno if you have to become premium for that, but I think you can do it on free version

I like Shuttle for music it does a pretty good job on my phone and it has a nice feel to it. The options available are great and the ability to customize the options is a nice touch. Would like to see a better widget with more options but then again I don't know much about making a widget.

Has anyone tried xbmc, it is for pc and android as well as mac. An open source project, plays any videos as well as iso and dvd folder vids, plays music and views your pictures as well as 1000's of scripts and programs you can download to be used within xbmc. Read up on xbmc.org.

My favorite is Shuffle music player. It is lightweight, comes with a sleep timer, gapless playback, a handful of themes and built in equalizer. The paid version costs just $0.99 and is really good value for money.

I've noticed there are about 3 or 4 media players out there now on the marketplace. I was wondering if anybody here has tried them out and if one of them stands out as the best? Or maybe it's just a matter of preference in these early stages?
V.L.C Media player is the best..

I used to have a galaxy fame running on jellybean, it had a built-in music player that had a very nice widget that could be extended on a whole page and display the tracks in the current folder/playlist/favorites, etc.
I switched to a J1 which no longer has a music player with that widget.

Short: Need music player with a widget that displays the tracks in the current playlist just like the one I described earlier. Couldn't find a single app that does that, also, I couldn't find an independent version of the one from the Galaxy FAME's OS.

Can someone help me?

Found a new one. Its called "black player". My new favorite one. Check it out. Has a black theme which looks awesome with KitKat themes.

Presumably because it's your own app? ;)

The Site Rules are very clear about promoting apps here on AndroidForums:

AF is a community of users and enthusiasts, not a free advertising billboard.
Sorry, it was just a suggestion. Also like BubbleUPnP app as it has Chromecast.

can anyone knows and can tell - I really liked the stock player, who was in my old LG Optimus black. Android 4.2 was standing there. and native shell LG. How to find and install this particular player?

MX Player for video - as it is possible to find a codec for any processor to read ALL current formats)
Stock player for audio - how many times did not put third-party music players on different smartphones - always the best turned out to be a native (built-in) player.
