Best Phone Lock Apps?

Keep in mind, if someone gets a hold of your phone and its not locked, they have access to EVERYTHING your phone has access to. Your email, calendar, any web sites you saved the logins for.

that is a very good point. and i didn't think of those things (email, website logins) when i was posting. there are ways to protect data in email...saving to a local folder when you get home any emails that contain login info...and website logins, your f**ked. haha.

so it comes down to the person, how well of a watch do you keep on your phone. my phone is my brain...so - it's always with me.

I use LockMe Widget which is free and allows emergency dial without unlocking the phone.

I keep ending calls with my ear when I'm talking. I have the des hd and tend to push the top button which sort of locks it but not really. Any suggestions for an in-call lock?

I like widget locker, you retain the option for keeping passwords/pattern locks but you can add widgets for ease of use for certian apps. I listen to podcasts while at work and if I get a call I just hit my power button and pause the app without having to unlock fully.

I just changed my unlock pattern in defaults....

im sure i dont have a typical pattern

I'm using MagicLocker app. Its easy to use but themes for lock screen are not much. Look for it on the Market.
