Best pricing option

This is getting confusing - I am not sure what the best pricing option will be. I guess without the full details from Verizon it's going to be impossible to decide what the best option is.

Here's my situation:

I have been due for an upgrade since late last year, and I have an employee discount from my company. I live in California.

Options:
Wirefly - $199 do they charge sales tax ?

Verizon - $249 - $50 upgrade = $199 - they will charge sales tax on the full price, but it's not clear they will give 20% employee discount, they did not offer that discount for the iphone

$199 + $60 = $259 ($60 estimated sales tax)

Best Buy - $249 will they give me the VZW upgrade credit? they will charge sales tax on the full price

I don't think the tax will be that high I just bought an iphone4 at a verizon store and it was $215 out the door at 7% Denver Tax . $199 for the phone plus tax

Sounds like your tax was only on the actual purchase price.

I can confirm here in Cali that we get taxed on full retail. Even a Free phone from Verizon costs me $50 in taxes... go figure.

I don't think wirefly charges tax unless you buy in their location state (VA)

Bestbuy doesn't match the NE2 rebates (it can vary by BBY Mobile locations). Generally NO
