Root Best ROM/App in respect of Camera result

Does anyone know which is the BEST ROM or app to use for top class camera results? I'm on MIUI 1.8.19 at the moment and got to admit the camera is way below par compared to when it was at stock ROM unrooted.

The best camera I have found is the Sense one, so ROM's like LeeDroid, ARHD etc would be the best bet for a decent camera.

I bought Camera Zoom FX, it's not amazing, but it's probably the best one out there. Camera 360 is also another popular choice.

Unfortunately mate, it's unlikely. The Sense apps need the Sense framework to function properly.

Not saying it can't be done, it'd just very hard to do.

I thought as much El Presidente! It's a shame, as the camera wasn't bad on the Sense ROM that came on the phone, just the ROM itself that I wasn't overly impressed with!!

I always found the stock Sense camera slow and jerky. MIUI camera is pretty good, I think the latest version has touch to focus and a few effects. For quick/Instagram style results I like Lightbox camera.

any idea what it's like on MIUI 1.9.16? I miss the Stock camera when was unrooted really

I'm currently using the latest SCI MIUI, but haven't tried the camera yet so can't pass comment on weather it's any good.

If it's just a case of extracting the camera apk file from the rom I'll put it in my dropbox and post the link. IF I can work it out

I only installed Miui 1.9.9 last week, my 1st non sense rom. And I still haven't used the camera to try it, sorry I can't be of any help.

I don't know what settings you get with Miui 1.8.19 but there seems to be a good selection on the current version, including anti shake & burst mode

It didn't work unfortunately, it starts to install, I'm then given a message saying "Application Not Installed".

I've installed Cyanogenmod Rom. It's working perfectly. just the camera quality is not good at all. How can I improve it? please help me even if it needs system code modifications.
