Root Best ROM for battery Life?

My daughter has been on stock Gingerbread with her Incredible 2. She was tired of the bloat apps running so she asked me to root it so she could get rid of them. In the rooting process I found out I had to downgrade it back to Froyo, which I did and the root was all done successfully. Installed Titanium and let her uninstall the things she wanted to.

Her other main complaint is battery life, I am concerned rooting and uninstalling bloat isn't really going to help her battery life. I am thinking the best deal will be to load a different ROM, I wondering if anyone could recommend a ROM that really helps the battery life?

Why did you downgrade to froyo? Either way....

I've been using Condemned CM7.2 (2.3.7) V1.4 for a few months and the battery life is great. There are CPU settings too, which allow you to throttle the CPU. I've found the smart ass v2 to be the best governor. It's customized a bit, has Metallica ring tones and some tweaking software pre-installed.

My only complaint with it is that the GPS destroys the battery life (I think the nature of CM7). More so than with Stock Rom.

I would say CM7 is the best ROM I have used for battery life too. I don't use gps too often, but got the best battery life on CM7 I have ever gotten with this phone, and without tweeking anything for battery life. CPU is clocked at 1200max/245min w/ smartassv2 governor.
This is what I had the other day with light usage:

That is unusually good battery life. I wouldn't expect it for most users.

If you want a close to stock experience for her (Gingerbread) I would suggest Nitsuj's GingerBangSense vM5.0.1.

That is my "other daily driver" and it gets better battery life than anything else I have used besides CM7

Good luck.
