Root Best rom?

Ok, I am going to jump in here for just a minute so I can add my two cents as to what is the best Kernel and ROM. I am like a mad scientist who has tried many combinations of ROMS and Kernels, so I could achieve what we are all looking for, which is peak performance and goodies. First, my recommendation is that if you don't do a BACK UP at first when attempting to load these ROMS and Kernels, you are going to receive a major headache. Next, I have read many success stories on what people are claiming is the best ROM and Kernel for them, and let me say this, no one Droid is alike, and that they are unique, meaning that, what works best at 1000mhz on thier Droid, may cook an egg on yours. I have found that what works best with a ROM that you have downloaded is the stock Kernel that came with it. My Droid has never ran as good until I loaded the UD8, and the stock kernel that came with it. I am running 800 mhz max and 500 mhz min., and my phone for the most part will run under 100 degrees farnheight, but up to 107 max if I am pushing it on the internet, but will cool down rapidly as soon as I am off. It's EXTREAMLY important to load a program called setcpu, and to set your profiles to prevent further damage to your Droid. Finally, I leave you with this saying, "ROM & Kernel perfect together", but are they? It's all trial tribulation. Happy hunting!
