Root Best ROM?

It just depends on your uses. I manage a store with my phone, play games and socialize with it also. I used to be CyanoGenMod all the way, but now I am using Minimum Triumph, I found it to be much more stable, fast, reliable and sufficient. So it's up to you. I recommend trying them all. Boot one up, make a back-up, and repeat with another. Than you can switch back and forth more easily and get a feel for each one, by using your back-ups, and not having to flash over and over. All the dev's do their best to give us great roms, so all are good. But finding the right one for you is your goal, not theirs. Also they are all pretty fast if you know how to tweak them.

i think i like the Cyanobromofroyocreamiui rom with a side of ice cream sammich(:

CM7 B-Rom F.Cream Rom Miui ICS (:

I'm having absolutely awesome battery life on MIUI. I get about 12 hours on one charge on just wifi with medium to heavy use. I haven't lasted long enough on any of the CMs to know how the battery life is.

EDIT: This is with using the SpeedDemon 5.6 Kernel.

That is a hard one to say. Like I listed in the last post each has it's pro and con. The great thing is you can install each one and check them out :D

P.S. :listen: I hear CM7 g60 style is pretty good :p

yes wat g60madmen said is right. every rom has pros n cons. also depends on wat u r looking for. u want ics? i suggest codename android or cm9 (i prefer codename...no offense to mantera ) u want froyo? i suggest bRom since its super fast n fly without any tweaks. u want gb? theres so many but i suggest g60 cm7 or miui :) these r my opinion. dont rage on me if im wrong lol

AOKP and AOSP have alot of potential but unfortunately its not ready for daily use without camera yet. cm7 is ok but drains my battery. this goes for whyzors, TG and g60's rom. however ziggy's and mobstergunz's cm7 is looking pretty good it has hdmi working but still needs data fixed. Miui was great imo it had everything i could ever want but i cant help not having an android rom. minimal triumph is very fast and its more stable than most roms out there. so i think you should go with miui, minimal triumph, or cm7. cm9 isnt ready just yet

I'm considering moving to a Gingerbread ROM (ICS will have to wait until those wonderful developers have the camera working :)). I don't use HDMI, so that doesn't matter to me, but I'm definitely hunting efficient performance and longer battery life if possible.

ok im not trying to sound like im raging but how r u getting horrible battery life with cm7? im with u on miui n minimal triumph though. minimal triumph was my personal favorite til codename android came out. yes there is no camera, but thats the only thing that is wrong n some minor bugs but its still ready for daily use i believe wif almost everything working cept camera n hdmi.. if u want stable/fast/smooth...go wif either miui 1.11.25(i think i put it wrong) or bRom/minimal. u should aim for the froyo roms. mobsters is working on a fully fnctional gb rom rite now. once thats done, u should see more fast/stable/smooth roms of gb similar to bRom

Froyo - b-rom (fastest ROM I've used so far, has all features working)
GB - CM7 g60
ICS - AOKP

I have nandroids of all three. If I need HDMI out, I'll restore b-rom. But my daily is CM7 g60, which I get great battery life from.

I like MIUI v4 because of well its MIUI and its the newest one that we have. Even without camera its beast to me. Also even though it doesnt have as many themes as MIUI GB but its still awesome. I notice nobody said MIUI v4 why is that? It's my daily even without camera.

My daily is Minimal Triumph 1.0.8.1. I tried the GB version yesterday ans as soon as mms/sms works I'll probably switch.

I just listed the ones I have installed and used. I haven't tried MIUI 4 yet. Figured I'll try it once cam is working.

For speed I use brom. For camera needs etc I switch to miui. But right now I am using code name as my daily. Has been very smooth and worked well for me. Had been better for me than cm9. I have backups of each of these. Which is best depends on how you use it and I think somewhat your particular phone as clearly not all triumphs are equal. I am still on my first one and it has worked very well for my use which is a lot of wifi, lots of email and little gaming. basically mine is a pocket laptop. data has what's been pretty good in my location as well.
