Is Sammy's backside rom is the best or is there another rom?

I like window 7M from ABCindicate, but it takes alot of system app replacements and toying to make it fully functional. Without modding and experimenting though.... Yes, that's your best bet.

There are other ROMs, if you like performance and don't care if you are running gingerbread or froyo, Mikekelsos 2.2.2 rooted stock is the best and flash the OC 2.2.1 kernel on top. If you only want gingerbread, I think it is backside, but a few have said GPS doesn't work with it, everything else works fine.

if you want to use netflix, hbogo, or hulu, you'll need to use a stock rom, not a CM rom :/

Yea that's currently a problem with gingerbread and our phones. It even happens on Optimus S gingerbread stock.
