Root best roms

Ok guys i used the cyangonmod7 and i love it...the optimous m is working lovely and it is 10 times faster then before but i have 2 problems when i lock the screen and i try to unlcok it...it will stay at a black screen the pull up in order for me to get the screen i have to hold the unlcok button to act as if im shutting iut off then it pops up. 2 i can be on the phone and all of a suttin when i got to hang up sometimes it stays black i have to put my finger over the sensor to come back on. any fixes for this?:mad:

did you turn off the animation in cyanogenmod settings
you have to turn off screen on animation and screen off animation
and that should fix it.
 
Blaxican 25 I am kinda new on here. I have the optimous m rooted 2.2. Is the cm7 rom same as the new 1 click root for 2.2.1. If not could you give me the instructions or link for the Cm 7 rom please.
 
Thanks for your information. But i am having a problem, when i first bought this phone i updated it to 2.2.1. i used mikes tools route to bring the phone back to 2.2. The problem i am having is when i try to update back to 2.2.1 with lg's software update i get a fatal error saying "updating is not possible due to fatal error while the lg mobile phone software update.. then under that it says select the contact button to contact lg mobile phone software update online. can i go ahead and use the CM7 beta rom without updating to 2.2.1 ?

As you well know, Adobe Flash is not meant to work on this phone, so that is not really a valid test for a ROM that runs on this phone. This phone does not have a CPU that Adobe certifies for Flash. If you ever get it to work, it will not work well.

I laughed when I read it because it was so true.

It's sad that LG made such a spiffy phone that hit price, performance, and features so well -- but it doesn't run Adobe Flash or have an LED camera flash. So, two cases of "flash" issues. The camera on this phone is not bad, but it cannot take pictures in darker settings. An LED flash would have made this phone so much better -- as well as the ability to run Adobe Flash.

So, my next phone will be an LTE Android that has both.
 
The cm7 seems great, only thing (and itsa BIG THING for me) is the bluetooth issues, if that can be fixed its a great win

i switched to the sense rom until a update is availabal for cm7, i havent had any issues with the sense rom, the cm7 has some bugs i encountered. no issues with sense rom so far :)

Go to custom recovery and make a partition. Then update from extension 2 to 3. Make sure and back up your system before you apply the update incase you do something wrong.
