Best screen protector for the I9100 SGS2?

Hi,

Which screen protector do you recommend most? I currently have the invisibleshield on it which is simply the worst Iv ever seen. First, bc it was not 100% perfect fit (alsmot but I had to cut some part) and second, the rubber feeling it give to the screen is simply not comftable when you slide your finger to turn pages. I will remove it as soon as I find one I like.

On my Ipod touch, I had one (don't remember the name) which game a glassy feeling (hard like a glass or plastic) when you touch it, I loved that.

I'v red about the SGP Ultra Crystal Screen Protector and it seems to be what I want to I red some review saying it's messy with finger prints.

So, any idea? I already paid 25$ for invisibleshield which I hate. So, I don't mind paying another 30$ on a new one that's gonna fit my expectation.

Thx

was it a universal protector or the one specific for the GS2

just querying as i know the universal one is slightly thicker than the specific one and feels slightly tackier

the one specific for the GS2 also has the gap for the speaker cutout so no need to recut any of it

I've got the SGP ultra crystal screen protector, came with my hybrid neo case. went on easily. I used a bit of water to lubricate it as it went on and help get any bubbles out. Now it's on you can't see it. It isn't at all tacky and is no worse than the screen for finger prints.

Zagg protectors are the worst i've ever used and overpriced to boot!
i havent bothered with a protector for my GS2, the screen seems pretty tough and i take a lot more care with it.
when i had my X10, i found the cheap ones from ebay were as good as any i tried and because they are so cheap, you can replace them every couple of months once they get slightly worn.

I just removed mine which was same as yours. I hate the huge difference of sensibility from the screen, my finger slides so much easier and typing is much better! I'm currently looking for replacement but without luck so far, please update if anyone knows a really good screen protector that isn't sticky and make the use of the screen somehow close to what would be without.
All the best!

Okara, since then I installed another i think the name was "iShield' but not the invisibleShield brand. Cost me 19$, and same installation procedures. It fit good until a few days ago when I noticed one corner near the home butter had flip and now won't stick correctly bc of dirt. The feeling is like no shield at all so loved it.

I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned this, so I will, the SGP Glas.

SGP Samsung Galaxy S2 Screen Protector Glas Series - GALAXY S2 - Samsung - Cell Phones

It's a glass screen protector, chemically hardened, and treated with an oleo-phobic coating to reduce fingerprints. It acts and feels like normal glass, has perfect clarity, and doesn't develop that foggy look that all of my SGP ultra-crystals developed over time. The main downside, and SGP lists this, is reduced responsiveness when plugged in to AC. NOTE - USB uses less power, so it's not as affected by this, but still a difference.

Why bother? Unless you work in a sand factory or carry your phone in the same pocket as your metal filings collection there is no need to "protect" the screen.

I can 2nd getting the media devil ones, perfect fit, also got mine off amazon and it also has lots of positive reviews from other users, i got my pack of 2 but messed up my first try which was my fault, but on my 2nd one i done it perfect, no bubbles or dust and it doesn't look like i have any screen protector on my phone at all

Thanks for all the inputs. I havent found anything like IShield but Medion review of the SGP Oleophobic sounds just what I'm after, I had seen it on amazon but didnt know how it would feel.

Because after it get scratched there is no way back. Better safe than sorry!

Exactly. It's a lot easier and cheaper to replace the protector that the screen I had an N8 before my SGS2 and the screen still had little marks and fine lines on it and it was gorilla glass too. I don't have any issues with sensitivity so i'm happy.

I went for a month or so without, but got tired of the fear of scratching the screen (managed to get a large scratch down the screen of my last phone VERY easily, but that was a resistive touch screen which is made of a plasticky film, not glass like the SGS2).

I felt that
