Help best sd cards?

padd

Newbie
hi
my 8gb stock sd card that came with my desire s is almost full and ill be needing a 32gb one soon as possible but not sure whats compatible with the htc?

can they take bigger cards than 32gb? and can you tell me what sd card (32gb) would work in the desire s

thanks

The Desire S can take the 64GB MicroSD cards and I know a couple of people with the Sandisk 64GB microSDs in their phones.

I've used two 32GB Sandisk MicroSDs (a class 4 and a class 6) and both work flawlessly. A class 2 might be fine for your needs, but a class 4 will be more than adequate to cover everything the Desire S can do.

I've stuck to Sandisk as I've never had a problem with them. They work in all the devices I have that use an SD card. That can't be said for some manufacturers like Kingston which can be fussy about what device they're used with.

Beware buying cheap cards - and even standard priced cards - on eBay, Amazon, etc. There are a huge number of fakes about.

You may be right,, i took one class 10 16gb but i see no difference as i bought one earlier was not sandisk and it was class 2.frankly speaking i didnt get any trouble except on re boot applications were taling ages to appear , after reading about class i took other class 10 .....but i think and i am sure first one was better..so it means i got one fake or whole story about class is big lie.....

I'd stick with SanDisk. I recently bought a 32gb disk and it works really well in my Desire S. Can't go wrong really. As mentioned before, beware where you buy from. I bought mine from Play.com when they had a sale on for
