best skins ever and signal reception

Planning to get a best skins ever skin for my DHD. For anyone that has it... does it have any effect on wifi/cell/gps signal?

You got a link? I recall a thread from ages ago where a silicone skin messed with the signal.

I know that some folk have had issues the otterbox skins and GPS, but I've not noticed the issue myself.

Pretty much like the zagg invisishield. Seems pretty non-invasive.

Funnily enough, I was having trouble getting a GPS lock today until I took off my otterbox case. (Which is a silicone + hard case).

For $9, if it doesn't work, you're not really losing much so I'd go for it.

Is your mobile signal worse in general with the case? It's weird that silicone has an impact on reception etc.

With this tpu case: S Curve Black Gel Jelly Case Cover for HTC Desire HD +S | eBay I get on average, orange bars (<20 dB) in gps test app. Without it, I get a slightly faster fix with more yellow bars (>20 dB). This was all from inside an apartment next to a window.

No one has a best skins ever?

I hadn't noticed any difference with my regular reception, although I've never actually tested it properly.
