best tablet

[dazzlet]

I have been looking into the tablets ever since the release of the ipad which is what led me down this road.
I have seen several kinds all that run android but i was wondering if anybody could give me their views and opinions on them and which one i could look more into and maybe go for.
i have been looking at the so called irobot tablet.
i also wondered if they support java such as the facebook games or not?

thanks

The adam will be an amazing tablet.

Yeah, notionink has a winner with that one, definitely. Don't buy the cheap ones, yet. If you want a good experience out of the box, the archos will be your best bet. There are several due out in the next few weeks that may turn your head, too!

[dazzlet]

would you say the archos 5, 7 or the archos 9 or would i be as well of waiting for a newwer release soon ?
what peice should i be looking at to get one so i dont get ripped off with cheaper versions

thanks

The Archos 7 Home Tablet is the newest, and one of the cheapest in the Archos line, at $199 on Amazon:
Amazon.com: Archos 7 8 GB Home Tablet with Android (Black): Electronics

You are going to get an older version of android, but because it's a more well-known company, there's a good chance that they will upgrade it to 2.x in the near future.

thanks i was under the impression archos 9 was the newest with it sort of counting up as 7,8,9

thanks for that

Wiipad: with these specs you cannot go wrong (still n eed a review mind)

Haha, yes, I will get on that review as soon as they start shipping. I was supposed to get a sample several weeks back, but the factories in China have a nasty habit of promising something for a certain date, then delaying time and time again.

i see that it says it will be on the market from the middle of june, is this true as i cant seem to find any to buy anywhere or find much more out about this one.

thanks
