Help Best way to manage music? Playlist?

This is my first Android phone. Coming from the iPhone 3Gs, I am expecting a lot. So far this phone is great, it has some bugs on it but I am willing to work with it.

One of the best thing about the iPhone was that it was an ipod, a really great music player. Since I am new to Android, I am still learning how to use it. I am using DoubleTwist to sync my music to the phone. I was able to import all my info from Itunes over to DT, but the problem was syncing it to the phone.
I am NOT able to sync my playlist to the phone. I am able to sync the music itself but when I try to play it on my phone it is a mess.

Is it possible to get my playlist to sync with this phone?

download the doubletwist app on your phone. you will be able to see the playlists. actually pretty much any music player app other than the stock music player will recognize the playlists.

ive used the doubletwist desktop app and android app combo for a while but i'm getting annoyed because the phone DT app doesn't have music controls on the lockscreen.

ive been trying to find a way to import playlists so that the stock music player recognizes them but i haven't had any luck. as of right now the only way i know how to do it with the stock music player is create the playlist in the music player itself which involves selecting all the songs that you want from the phone. another way is pay $3 for an app called iSyncr and it creates the playlist for you.

i don't want to pay money to be able to sync a playlist. if i wanted to i could just download btunes (an itouch lookalike app) for $1.50.
