Best Weather App?

I want a simple app that shows the weather and temp, does not need the time and date but if it does that's ok, I need to be able to customize the refresh time and I want the option to specify the location manually so that it doesn't pull GPS.

Which is my best solution?

Holy hell, by a long shot (just installed it this morning):

Weather forecast widget v2 - Android app on AppBrain

Endless amounts of customization, using a Google service I believe for weather data, skins, GPS, static (user entered) location, several different layouts, etc.

I like fancy widget but sometimes the temp doesn't update unless u do it manually. At least on my phone.

Mine is the same way. Sometimes the time will get stuck also, which can be quite annoying to see the actually time an hour ahead of the Fancy Widgets time

try weatherbug elite..it is $1.99 but it is worth it. it does the job well along with the free weatherbug locator app. i tried fancywidget, beautiful widgets etc. all of them had bugs that prevented the weather (and the time!) from being updated. weatherbug elite does the job but hey what to do good ones are not free!!

wf&clock widget...

imo, it beats fancy widget and beautiful widget..

ive tried all 3 and this one seems to never freeze on me or anything

I'd really like to see a weather map in motion (radar), just like on my PC. Tried Weather.com and AccuWeather maps using the default browser, Opera, Dolphin, and Skyfire. No luck. AccuWeather's map looks better than Weather.com's, at least on my phone - now if I can just get it to animate so that I can see the movement / speed of rain and snow coming my way.

Anybody been successful?

Any tips for a better Weather.com map?

Weatherbug. Seems to eat less widget power than weather.com too.

I read somewhere...and now that I think about it, I think it was WITH THE Help/FAQ for The Weather Channel...that when Weather Channel is launched and/or when their widget is running, it is updated every 5 minutes or something stupid like that. And I did NOT notice any setting to change that interval. I also noticed that it seemed to launch itself even when turned "off" as best as possible with regard to its updates.

So, I booted TWC and kept Weatherbug for now.

Radar Now, works great has moving radar, you have to force close by your menu button. It remembers your location, so when you bring it up again, it tells you to hit the back button to show last location.
