Help Best web browser for Indulge

I've tried several...Opera Mini...Skyfire...and Dolphin. I can't get used to any of them and they're all missing something that the other has or there's just something annoying about them. So I'm still using the stock browser. The only thing I don't like about it is that the you have to press the menu key to get to the forward button...but other than that I still prefer it over the other ones overall.

i've also tried opera and dolphin, but i actually prefer the one that comes with the phone, metroweb (i think is the name), it's pretty simple and it works good enough for me!

Metroweb is actually just the name MetroPCS is giving to the stock android browser on the phone. Don't ask me why they did it, they just did! ;)
Metroweb usually refers to the service, and that's why all metro's phone browsers usually say metroweb on them...

I tried firefox and opera didn't like either one. on my blackberry I used bolt. but it's not available for android..... So far ive been happiest with the android browser.

Yeah I have tried Opera Mini, but I like the stock Metro browser for most things. It has a feature where you pinch to zoom and it resizes the text into a column in that area so it fits on your screen. Very handy feature. I couldn't seem to get Opera Mini to do that, in Opera Mini it seemed to me that you touched the screen and it would zoom to that area. But then not wrap the text to fit onto your screen like the stock browser does. Unless I am missing something?

Also, I heard that the Metro browser was based on Opera Mini? Or is it that the stock Android browser is based on Opera Mini, and just renamed "Metroweb?"

Haven't tried Dolphin or FireFox yet, but I will when I get my phone "back" in a few days.

I like Dolphin HD, because it has gestures. But for the most part, I haven't really found a browser I truly like.
I like Opera Mini on my wife's iPod, I think it is better than Safari, but I am just not feeling it on Android.

Just switched to Firefox 4 for Android... NICE - Loving the capability to sync bookmarks and history automatically between my PC and phone without having to hook the phone up and manually sync!

Opera has always been able to do that. In fact, you can sync your bookmarks, search history, typed URL's, and a whole bunch of stuff between your various desktop clients. I think notes and stuff as well (but personally, I don't use that).

The Mini browser, on the phone, only syncs the bookmarks IIRC, but still cool and been doing it a while. Just place them in your "Opera Mini" folder in your bookmarks on your desktop browser (all of my bookmarks are in there, that folder is basically the root folder of my bookmarks, lol).

Opera have been the source of many innovations in browsers, including many that we take for granted today. And it is the fastest browser (I'm talking about the desktop browser). Check it out some time.

Firefox 4 here. Due to sync, it knows what website I am trying to access in 1-2 keystrokes. Forms are filled in quickly fro me too.

Some websites though, like blackboard, just freeze in the metroweb and firefox.
