Best WiFi App for Metro PCS in Central FL

I have a Nexus 5 and because of Metro PCS and being in Central FL (Melbourne) there is sometimes NO WiFi...what is the BEST app, I have tries a few (Portable WiFi Hotspot Free) ??? Any ideas ???

Typically Wifi boosting/signal boosting applications are a load of honkey

They promise things, but never come through on actually working, they just look like they're working.
