Hi there. I'm new to these forums and to the smartphone world in general. I've always loved Android OS, but never been able to afford the $30/month for data until recently. So long story short, I got a Galaxy SII for $10 on a new contract and I LOVELOVELOVE it all except for 1 thing: the battery.
It takes 3 hours to fully charge on a good day, and apparently this is normal! Last night (2nd night with it) I plugged it in to charge overnight and put it under my pillow. When I woke up it had only charged about 70% (in about 7 hours) and was pretty dang hot.
Does anyone know of a good third-party battery for the phone? The battery life on a full charge is good enough for me (barely, but barely counts), but it would be nice to be able to charge the phone in an hour and a half or less, not cause charging the phone to heat it up so much, and if I could also get more battery life, I'd definitely pay for a new battery.
